HDTV Ratings: March 22-23

Another of TV2’s HD flagships, Go Girls, took a hit this week when Tuesday’s episode rated several points lower than the previous week’s.

Even with TV2’s target audience, 18-39 year-olds, it slipped dramatically, from 16.7% a week earlier to 12.8%.

It also was down sharply among 18-49 and 25-54 year-olds, and household shoppers with kids.

TV3’s HD competition, NCIS: Los Angeles, also lost viewers in the major demographics whereas TV One’s SD alternative, Undercover Boss, had a big upsurge in popularity, rising from single digit ratings last week to 11.2% of 18-49 and 13% of 25-54.

TV3’s Wednesday HD line-up dipped against TV2’s after last week’s gains.

Hawaii Five-O and Sons of Anarchy both slipped a rating point or so and TV2’s comedy fortunes bounced back with the return of The Big Bang Theory and Cougar Town.

TV One’s Politically Incorrect Guide to Parenting was steady with HHS/kids — 15.2% — but down a couple of points in the other key demos.
