Big Bang Theory Back With a Bang

TVNZ 2 will re-run season 10 of The Big Bang Theory back-to-back in a marathon broadcast ahead of season 11’s premiere the same week it screens in the US.

The Big Bang Theory Birthday will run from 10.30am-8.50pm on September 23 while new episodes will resume 8.40 Wednesdays from September 27.

CBS has renewed its long-running hit for a 12th season and also is launching a prequel spin-off, Young Sheldon.

“I’m not saying it’s the end after season 12, but we know that this incredible, special thing is going to come to an end, and sooner rather than later,” Kunal Nayyar (RajNayyar) this week told Digital Spy.

“I think all of us [in the cast] are at least beginning to feel a little bit nostalgic about the time we’ve had.

“I mean, no-one wants to see an old, fat Raj. I don’t know if season 12’s going to be the last season – those decisions are not up to me – but I do know for a fact that we have less [episodes to come] than we’ve already had.”

Here’s what’s being predicted for season 11 while here’s a trailer teasing the answer to “America’s #1 question”.

  1. That marathon is quite odd programming, even for Election Day/night when people are likely going to be watching the coverage.

  2. Yes, I’m really looking forward to the election, it’s going to be an interesting night 🙂
