  1. Is it time we allowed advertising on Christmas Day, perhaps just even from 7pm-midnight? Would that encourage channels to put on better shows? Just an idea. The flip side to that is TV2 premiering one of the country’s biggest ever homegrown movies on that night but perhaps the likes of Three or Prime need more encouragement.

  2. They still break up programmes and movies on Xmas day with ads. They’re called endless station promos. If it’s commercial free it should be free of all ads, not just product ones.

  3. Let the 2018 season roll on and TVNZ will give us what needs to be a smarter way to make a more upbeat line -up and should redo our daytime lineup to something like TV3 but with way better series.
