HD Heads-Up: December 26 – January 1

TV3 is dropping Shark Tank after two weeks back on air and replacing it and stablemate Caught on Camera with movies, starting with SD re-runs of Ghost Town on Monday and Along Came Polly the following week.

It will screen one network movie premiere in the week starting December 26 — Last Vegas (8.55 Saturday) — but the rest of its HD movies will be repeats: Nanny McPhee Returns (7.00 Sunday), Parental Guidance (9.10 Sunday), Margaret (11.15 Sunday), The Green Mile (8.30 Tuesday), Shallow Hal (8.30 Wednesday), Night at the Museum 2 (7.00 Friday) and Billy T: Te Movie (9.00 Friday).

Other HD highlights to see out the year include a new season of House Rules (7.30 Monday and Tuesday),  The Graham Norton Show – NYE Special with Jennifer Lawrence, Eddie Redmayne, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg (8.30 Thursday) and a repeat of 7 Days 200th Episode (9.30 Thursday).

TV1 has the 2015 Call the Midwife Christmas Special (8.40 Sunday) and the network movie premieres of The Big Wedding (8.40 Thursday) and CBGB (11.20 Thursday).

Inexplicably, TV2 is squandering the network premiere of its best movie of the week, The Adventures of Tintin, off-peak: 3.50pm Thursday. Blistering barnacles!
