HDTV Ratings: March 29-30

From last night’s Sons of Anarchy: Tommy Flanagan and Bellina Logan

Sons of Anarchy withstood the return of Real Crime last night, when the repeat of the Mark Lundy profile more than doubled viewership of TV One’s 9.30pm doco slot.

It drew two-to-three times the audience of the previous week’s Real Life doco but to the detriment of Drop Dead Diva on sister channel TV2 rather than TV3’s HD bikie drama.

Diva’s ratings dived in the key demographics whereas Anarchy’s were steady or down only slightly.

Anarchy’s HD lead-in, Hawaii Five-O, is still struggling to draw half the audience of TV2’s HD comedies, The Big Bang Theory and Cougar Town, while at 7.30 Two and a Half Men continues to do out-rate everything else on Wednesdays.

On Tuesday, Go Girls bounced back to attract 11.6% of 18-49 year-olds, 12.7% of 25-54 year-olds and 13.9% of its target audience, 18-39 year-olds, but was down with HHS/kids: 12.3%

HD rival NCIS: Los Angeles continues to languish with 4%-5.2% of the age demos and 7.3% of HHS/kids while Go Girls’ HD stablemate, Off the Map, isn’t rating much better opposite TV One’s I Shouldn’t Be Alive.
