HDTV Ratings: May 2-3

Season three of Go Girls is due on DVD next week

Go Girls bowed out last night with some of its highest season-three ratings yet, scoring from 13.8% of 25-54 year-olds to 17.7% of household shoppers with kids

The season finale’s popularity also boosted viewership of what’s likely to have been the final episode of Off the Map.

The Martin Henderson medical drama was watched by 7.5% of TV2’s target audience, 18-39 year-olds, and 9.6% of HHS/kids.

As a result, both of TV3’s crime shows, NCIS: Los Angeles and SVU, suffered audience erosion as did TV One’s alternative to Go Girls, Undercover Boss.

Earlier in the night, TV3’s HD reality half-hour, Missing Pieces, either out-rated or narrowly lost to TV2’s Hell Kitchen in the major demographics while 24 hours earlier, the network’s Drug Bust beat the season finale of The Amazing Race on TV2 (expect the next season to be in HD).

Otherwise, TV2 dominated the night with its HD double-bill of Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters.

TV One’s Criminal Minds regained some of the audience it lost last week but not at the expense of TV3’s CSI, which also built on its previous week’s viewership.

Stablemate Californication also improved, to rate 7%+ of 18-49 and 25-54 year-olds after last week dipping below 5% in each demo – gains that mirrored Castle’s losses on TV One.
