Devious Maids Gets Overtime

TV2 has reversed its decision to pink-slip Devious Maids and will screen all of the episodes in the first season at 9.30 Wednesdays.

Last week the network gave the Desperate Wives spin-off the chop three weeks before the end of season one.

The “last” episode was to have been Wednesday’s but today it was announced the September 25 premiere of Tabatha Takes Over would be postponed so Maids could be re-instated.

“The programmers have decided, with so few episodes to go, not to upset the run of the show and finish off the season so viewers can watch all the way through,” a publicist says.

Those programmers also would have been heartened by last week’s ratings rebound for Maids, which occurred after the billings deadline for week 39 TV guides had passed.

  1. Well, this is great news for Devious Maids fans and the programmers actually listen! I’m so happy they’re continuing with the series until its finale!
