Sky’s SoHo Invests in Billions

Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis head next year’s newly minted Billions, which SoHo will premiere on January 19. The high stakes drama, about an ambitious, blue-blooded US Attorney who targets a blue-collar hedge fund king, will screen 8.30 Tuesdays. Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who scripted Ocean’s Thirteen and Runner Runner, and Andrew Ross Sorkin, who authored Too Big to Fail, wrote the 12 episodes while Neil Burger (Divergent, Limitless, The Illusionist) directed the pilot. SoHo’s other big new-year newcomer is Versailles while returning will be the unplanned parenthood comedy Catastrophe and, for its third and final season, Getting On. They will screen on an 8.30 Thursday double-bill from January 14. Back for box set weekends will be The Affair (s2), Fargo (s2), The Knick (s2), The Americans (s3) and American Horror Story: Hotel.
