Tonight in HD: March 22

Season Premiere: The Finder (TV3, 8.30, 5.1) In episode one of this Bones spin-off about a Florida Keys eccentric with an uncanny gift for finding people and things, a teen asks his help to find the father who went missing after his plane vanished. The Chicago Sun-Times thought it “a lighthearted blend of action, drama and comedy” while the New York Times predicted “if the various kinks work themselves out, The Finder will at the least be a medium-strength entry in the increasingly crowded field of comedy-dramas featuring eccentric characters”. But Variety reckoned the backdrop of water and bikinis “hardly casts enough of a glow to offset the nondescript characters and premise in a series that isn’t bad, necessarily, but simply ordinary in most every way – as if it were plucked, via time capsule, from 1984.” ✮✮✮

SoHo Highlight: Treme (Sky 10, 9.30, 5.1) In the penultimate episode of season two, the community mourns a fallen artist,Toni asks Colson for inside help, and Sonny is smitten at the docks. The AV Club called it "a solid episode though not quite as cohesive as some of the recent instalments. Still, the series continues to fire on all cylinders, and it feels like the set-ups are there for some good emotional pay-offs in next week’s finale and heading into season three." ✮✮✮✮✮
