1News Tops TVNZ Linear & Digital

The Day of the Jackal was the most popular international series to stream on TVNZ+ in the past year while 1News at Six was the most streamed local show.

TVNZ reports its streaming audience grew 10.7% year-on-year and that three of its top 10 streamed programmes were NZ-made.

Broadcast audiences “held strong” with a weekly reach of 2.4 million New Zealanders.

Nine of the top 10 broadcast shows across all broadcast channels were local and all appeared on TVNZ 1.

Again, 1News topped the ratings, and the only international show to crack the top 10 was Travel Guides Australia.
