Meanwhile, today’s Dominion Post reports on how the 2011 Rugby World Cup will be a missed opportunity to promote Kiwi innovation because the International Rugby Board’s contract with host broadcaster Sky TV doesn’t provide for 3D coverage.
It’s likely the only country that could enjoy 3D coverage is the United Kingdom — although recently Home Cinema Choice ran an interview with a broadcast standards expert who warns 3DTV is “not going to be easy”.
