I have to say TVNZ coverage of the Commonwealth Games has been truly awful but still with having TVNZ on Apple TV. I have got to watch bowls and squash without any ads whatsoever 🙂 https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/commonwealth-games/102961851/commonwealth-games-coverage-falls-short-with-squash-bowls-fans

  2. But at least you’re not paying $75/month to Sky to watch it and us plebs without Sky don’t have to watch pre-recored low-def nothing-live on Prime.

  3. I’d rather pay 75 bucks to Sky to guarantee I got watchable coverage.

  4. I did notice TVNZ on demand has heaps of Commonwealth Games coverage, all looking good in shiny HD – that doesn’t cost 75 bucks, although I’m not sure how “live” it is, or if it’s all catch up content … could be a consideration if quality is important, but there could be a small time lag.
