A Feast for Julianne Moore Fans

Julianne Moore, who stars in Thursday’s premiere of the dark comedy Sirens on Netflix, will pop up next in the Apple TV+ thriller Echo Valley.

She plays Kate, a mother already struggling to make peace with her troubled daughter Claire (Sydney Sweeney) when Claire shows up on her doorstep, hysterical and covered in someone else’s blood.

As Kate pieces together the shocking truth of what happened, she learns just how far a mother will go to try to save her child in what Apple TV+ dubs “a gripping tale of love, sacrifice, and survival”.

Echo Valley streams from June 13. Here’s the trailer.

Apple TV+ also has announced an eight-episode docuseries from Gordon Ramsay’s production company Studio Ramsay Global that explores the high-stakes world of international fine dining.

Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars follows the fates of elite chefs as they try ro win, maintain or lose the most prestigious culinary award in the world.

Filmed over the course of the year-long Michelin Guide season in cities from Los Angeles to London, Mexico City to Copenhagen, each chef attempts to win a Star or face the crushing blow of losing one, as Michelin Guide’s team of inspectors use false identities and phone numbers to dine anonymously.

“There’s no honour in any industry as prestigious and influential as the Michelin Star,” host Jesse Burgess says.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the stories of some of the most exciting restaurants in the world – as they throw everything, including the kitchen sink, at their obsessive quest for the ultimate award.”
