AFP Child Porn Ep OK for 8pm – TV3

NZ viewers of Australian Federal Police will see tonight’s season finale (TV3, 8.00) ahead of Australians.

Across the Tasman, Channel Nine reportedly has held back its HD broadcast because of concerns its child sex exploitation content was unsuitable for 8pm.

But according to a TV3 spokesman, it’s not an issue here. “This episode had gone through all the proper channels,” he says.

“Originally we thought it might be too tough, but our appraisers seemed to be OK with it, saying that it was a difficult subject matter, but the episode handled it carefully.”
