Apple TV+ Renews See for S3
Apple TV+ has announced a third season of See ahead of the post-apocalyptic series returning for S2 on August 27.
The series is set in the far future when a virus has robbed humankind of its sense of sight.
It stars Jason Momoa stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed.
Apple TV+ has released a teaser trailer for S2, which will introduce Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Edo Voss, the brother of Momoa’s character. Reads the blurb:
Baba Voss is fighting to reunite his torn-apart family and get away from the war and politics that surround him, but the more he moves away, the deeper he gets sucked in, and the emergence of his nemesis brother threatens his family even more.
See features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision and has been honoured for its representation of the visually impaired, winning the Ruderman Family Foundation Seal of Authentic Representation in 2020.
New series regular cast members will include Eden Epstein (Sweetbitter), Tom Mison (Watchmen), Hoon Lee (Warrior), Olivia Cheng (Warrior), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water) and Tamara Tunie (Flight).
S2 is executive produced by Steven Knight, Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Jim Rowe and Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner.
The series is produced by Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.
S2 will stream weekly; S3 is filming in Toronto.

YAY, I have now got Apple TV+ so looking forward to watching some new shows and movies. I wonder if See is worth watching 🙂
It sure is, Trevor. The premise sounds dreadful but the execution’s amazing and the production values extraordinary. Riveting.
At the moment I’m watching Home Before Dark, it’s quite a good mystery 🙂
Hello Trevor, I second See (great in 4k!). Im sure you will find plenty to watch on Apple TV+, once you dip your toe into the content I’m sure it will become a regular for binge watching! Let us know what you think?
Thanks, I will. I’m loving Apple TV+ so far. Think I will watch For All Mankind next or See 🙂
I just watched 3 episodes of Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ what a fun show. Ted is so loveable, it’s a shame he gets treated like a idiot but still I guess it’s part of the show and will turn everyone around 🙂
I’m a little late to the party, but I have just watched the first episode of Season 2 of See. Thoroughly enjoyed Season 1, and I’m pleased to say the first episode of the new season has lost nothing in terms of story, production values and enjoyment!
It seemed quite a bit more violent to me, Rosco. I loved S1 but felt the S2 premiere unnecessarily graphic. Production values still first-rate, although I thought the storytelling wobbly until it all came together splendidly at the end. I will be catching up with the rest of S2 as soon as time allows.
