Blu-ray Bargains: Universal Kicks Ass in December/January

In what seems a record short time for a premium title, Universal Pictures will discount the Blu-ray of Get Him to the Greek only six weeks after it was released.

The Russell Brand comedy will sell for $25 as part of a December 15-January 28 promotion that will see these titles on sale for only $20 each: Kick-Ass, American Gangster, Apollo 13, the Bourne movies, Carlito’s Way, Changeling, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, The Invention of Lying, Love Actually, Nanny McPhee, Spartacus 50th Anniversary, Stargate: Director’s Cut, State of Play and The Tale of Despereaux.

Bound for the $15 bin over the same period are: King Kong, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Away We Go, Billy Madison, Bulletproof, Burn After Reading, Duplicity, Happy Gilmore, Jarhead, Kundun, Leaving Las Vegas, Pride and Prejudice, Rambo 3, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Raw Deal, Spy Game, The Thing, Untraceable and You, Me & Dupree.
