Bridgerton S4 to Stream in Two Parts

As it did with season three, Netflix will stream S4 of Bridgerton in two instalments a month apart (view trailer here).

The first four episodes will land on January 29 and the second four on February 26. Reads the blurb:

The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.

Netflix says S4 will offer fresh ways for passionate fans to immerse themselves into the “Bridgeton universe” on and off-screen:

The franchise has amassed a global fandom that caters to an underserved romance audience, piercing the cultural zeitgeist with unparalleled success and igniting trends as fans celebrate their love of the series through memes, music, books, fashion, decor and more. Live experiences like The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience and a growing collection of consumer products, have catapulted the Bridgerton name into an extraordinarily sought-after lifestyle brand, delighting fans by allowing them to enjoy their favourite story in-person.

Even better news for those who like their period drama less trifling, Netflix will stream the acclaimed movie Train Dreams from November 21 following a two-week theatrical run (view trailer here).

Based on a novella by Denis Johnson, Train Dreams was directed by Clint Bentley, from a script he co-wrote with Greg Kwedar, and stars Joel Edgerton as Robert Grainier, a logger and railroad worker who leads a life of unexpected depth and beauty in the rapidly-changing America of the early 20th Century.

Felicity Jones, Kerry Condon, and William H. Macy co-star.
