More FAST Channels Go Live


As previously posted, ThreeNow is now home to two more FAST channels, CNN Fast and The Graham Norton Show.

Thursday 16 May 2024 – Warner Bros. Discovery ANZ adds two new FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) Channels to its content portfolio this week, with CNN Fast and The Graham Norton Show channels available for free on ThreeNow, the fastest growing streaming service in New Zealand.

CNN Fast is a curated channel of short-form videos and offers a fresh way for new audiences to watch a range of quick-paced, internationally focused CNN content across entertainment, business, sport and major news events.

The Graham Norton Show channel provides 24/7 stories, chat and music from some of the biggest celebrities in the world who have graced Graham’s big red couch.

    Very surprised to see these launched so quickly. Hopefully more are on the way. Any sign of Pluto TV launching here Philip? Is Sky looking at FAST channels to bolster Sky Opens presence?

  2. Would love to see how ThreeNow is developing (with actual statistics). Not sure its the fastest growing streaming service according to Neilsen. Steady growth, making its as big as Amazon Prime but Youtube still looks like the fastest growing service…..

  3. CNN Fast reminds me of the good old days of CNN when it was owned by Turner Broadcasting when they had their 30 minute news loop channel called CNN Headline News back in the 1990s.

  4. Great point, Paul W. I think CNN Fast’s a good example of how convenient a FAST channel can be for dipping in and out of for info on the go. Plus: it’s in HD — which should shame Sky into upgrading its news channels. They still look so ’90s in SD.
