Starring Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly and Alice Braga, the nine-episode series will premiere with the first two episodes on May 8.

Reads the blurb:

Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels of the decade, Dark Matter is a story about the road not taken. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. In this labyrinth of realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying, unbeatable foe imaginable: himself.

Disney+ has added to this month’s slate the movie, All of Us Strangers (April 24).

Reads the blurb:

One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life.

As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.
