CSI: Vegas Crushes Accused

Three’s premiere of legal drama Accused on Tuesday drew roughly half as many adult viewers as TVNZ 2’s CSI: Vegas, the latest spin-off of the procedural that originally aired on the Warner Bros. Discovery network.

Accused averaged 1.41% of the audience that Three targets, 25-54 year-olds, to earn a 9.10 share (or 28,974 viewers).

CSI: Vegas averaged a 2.55 rating/19.12 share (or 52,398 viewers) while the season final of TVNZ 1’s I Am averaged a 2.10 rating/56.90 share (or 43,123 viewers).

Hindering Accused’s appeal was the huge lead-in CSI enjoyed from MasterChef Australia: 5.48 rating/30.57 share (or 1122,551 viewers).

That was more than double the viewership of Three’s Tracked, which completed its run with a 2.46 rating/14.22 share (or 50,577 viewers).

TVNZ 1’s 7.30 re-run of Your Home Made Perfect averaged a 3.72 rating/22.39 share (or 76,371 viewers).

The night’s most-watched 25-54 programmes were: 1 News, The Chase (5.30), Seven Sharp, MasterChef Australia, Newshub Live at 6pm, Shortland Street, Your Home Made Perfect, The Project, The Chase (5.00) and CSI: Vegas.
