Dream Blu-ray Release for Inception

The box office juggernaut about hi-tech dream theft, Inception, will be released on a four-disc Blu-ray combo pack on December 8.

It will include the Blu-ray of the movie, a DVD and a digital copy for $49.95.

Among the exclusive extras will be Extraction Mode – Infiltrate the Dreamscape of Inception, an in-movie experience where director Christopher Nolan, star Leonardo DiCaprio, and the rest of the cast and crew go behind the scenes of the movie’s signature moments.

Dreams: Cinema of the Subconscious uses some of the most fascinating and cutting-edge dream research on lucid dreaming to argue the dream world is not an altered state of consciousness but a fully functional parallel reality.

Inception: The Cobol Job is an animated comic prologue about how Cobb, Arthur and Nash came to be enlisted by Cobol Engineering and perform an extraction on Saito.

Other extras include the soundtrack in 5.1 surround, a conceptual art gallery, a promotional art archive, Inception trailers and TV ads and, via BD-Live, Project Somnacin: Confidential Files.
