Echo to Debut New Year on Disney+

The latest Marvel Studios series Echo launches on Disney+ early next year.

The five-episode “streaming event” can be binged from January 10 — making it the first Marvel Studios series to drop all episodes at once.

It stars Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, a fugitive from Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) criminal empire who returns home to confront her own family and legacy.

Chaske Spencer (The English), Graham Greene (1883), Tantoo Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon), Devery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs), Zahn McClarnon (Dark Winds) and Cody Lightning (Hey, Viktor!) co-star.

Fans of Apple TV+ spy romp Slow Horses can look forward to season three premiering with two episodes on November 29.

It opens with a romantic liaison in Istanbul that threatens to expose a buried MI5 secret in London. When Jackson Lamb and his team of misfits are dragged into the fight, they find themselves caught in a conspiracy that jeopardises the future not just of Slough House but of MI5 itself.

New to the cast are Ṣọpẹ Dìrísù as Sean Donovan, the former head of security at the British embassy in Istanbul, and Katherine Waterston, who plays Alison Dunn, an MI5 agent who uncovers a dark secret at the heart of the agency.
