Emmy Awards to Air in HD

For the first time, the Emmy Awards will screen here in HD.

Vibe, which was upgraded to HD two months ago, will air the ceremony live on September 23.

Coverage will start from midday and there will be a highlights package at 8.30.

E! will offer SD coverage from 8.30am, with Countdown to the Red Capet and Live From the Red Carpet, and, from 3pm, E! After Party.

As a curtain raiser to the awards, SoHo has launched a pop-up channel with a range of nominees (SoHo’s shows earned 176 nomination across 26 series, movies, documentaries and specials).

Each day’s programming starts at 7.30am and has a second full play from 7.30pm.
