European Tour Won’t Tee Off Live
Sky Sport 6 will resume coverage of golf’s European Tour this weekend but it won’t be live.
Instead, the channel will screen only highlights of the Austrian Open and the Euram Bank Open.
A Sky spokeswoman says the two opens are qualifying events and tour coverage will be live thereafter.
Meanwhile, the PGA Tour will continue with the Workday Charity Open at the Muirfield Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, from Friday, with big hitters like Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, and NZ’s Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson.
This week’s other SS highlights include the return of GrassRoots Rugby for its 22nd season (SS1, 7.00 Thursday), Mike Hesson discussing why as Blackcaps coach he stood down Ross Taylor on Sky Sport Presents the Pod (SS3, 8.30 Thursday), and Sky Sport The Breakdown breaking down Beauden Barrett’s departure to Japan (SS1, 8.30 Tuesday)
And here’s the live sport you can expect to see over the next few months:
