Fair Go Betrayed for Traitors NZ
The penultimate episode of Three’s The Traitors NZ out-rated TVNZ 1’s Fair Go in the core commercial demographic on Monday night.
This was the first time the Paul Henry hit drew more 25-54 year-olds than the consumer affairs champ.
It averaged 76,169 viewers (3.71 rating/20.90 share) vs 76.117 for Fair Go (3.71 rating/23.85 share) and 69,194 for its stablemate, Border Patrol (3.37 rating/21.07 share).
TVNZ 2’s Taskmaster NZ averaged a competitive 64,774 viewers (3.16 rating/19.39 share).
Three’s local drama Far North bounced back after last week’s season low (34,442 viewers, 1.68 rating/12.57 share) but still trailed TVNZ 1’s World’s Most Dangerous Roads (57,755, 2.81 rating/21.24 share) and TVNZ 2’s The Rookie (46,044, 2.24 rating/17.22 share).
Rookie sidekick Feds won the 9.30 hour, with 30,954 viewers (1.51 rating/20.89 share).
The night’s most watched shows in the 25-54 demo were 1 News, The Chase (5.30), Seven Sharp, Newshub Live at 6pm and Shortland Street.
TVNZ 1 won the night with a 30.46 peak demo share, nine points ahead of Three (21.32) and nearly 14 points ahead of TVNZ 2 (16.57).
