Fresh From Fallout & Frankenstein

Prime Video today released the trailer for season two of sci-fi hit Fallout, which premieres on December 17.

It reveals new characters and casting, including Justin Theroux, as well as a first look at post-apocalyptic predator Deathclaw.

Fallout S1 ranks among the Amazon service’s top three most-watched titles ever, with more than 100 million viewers worldwide.

The new eight-part season, which will roll out weekly, is set 200 years after the apocalypse, when descendants of the survivors exit luxury fallout shelters to discover an irradiated hellscape and ultra-violent universe.

From the creators of Westword, it stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Walton Goggins (The White Lotus), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island) and Frances Turner (The Boys).

A third season already has been announced while producer Kilter Films also is adapting Rebecca Yarros’ adult fantasy novel Fourth Wing and developing a live-action adaptation of Wolfenstein, both for Amazon.
