Fringe Fit for Fourth

Fox TV today announced it was renewing spooky cult favourite, Fringe, for a fourth season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it received a 22-episode order even though the most recent airing posted a series low rating with its target audience, 18-49 year-olds.

In NZ, Warner Bros Video has still to confirm a release date for season two of Fringe on Blu-ray.

But expect it to be in about two months’ time, when it will have completed its late-night run on TV2.

That means it will come out here six months after its Australian release — and eight months later than in the US!

The good news it looks as if TV2 will run season three on the back of season two, in the same 10.30pm Thursday slot.

Meanwhile, it’s tipped to come out on Blu-ray in the US in September.
