Gower Rebounds to Beat Blankety Blank

Paddy Gower Has Issues rebounded in its third week to beat Blankety Blank in the key demo but couldn’t top MasterChef Australia.

Wednesday’s broadcast averaged 3.29% of 25-54 year-olds, to notch up a 19.60 share for Three (67,461 viewers) and out-rate its season premiere.

TVNZ 2’s cooking contest averaged a 3.70 rating/21.65 share and TVNZ 1’s game show a 2.34 rating/14.67 share.

At 8.30, Three’s Couples Therapy lost to TVNZ 2’s Taskmaster (2.74 rating/22.39 share) and TVNZ 1’s Race Across the World (1.49 rating/12.32 share).

TVNZ 2 also dominated the 9.30 hour with Send Nudes: Body SOS (1.45 rating/18.44 share) while TVNZ 1’s Coronation Street (0.94 rating/12.85 share) led Three’s The Kardashians: Billion Dollar Industry (0.78 rating/10.57 share).

The most-watched 25-54 shows of the night were: 1 News, The Chase (5.30), Newshub Live at 6pm; Seven Sharp; Shortland Street; MasterChef Australia; Paddy Gower Has Issues,The Project, Taskmaster and Blankety Blank.

The night’s biggest 25-54 channel shares were: TVNZ 1, 24.46; TVNZ 2, 19.78; Three, 19.49; Bravo, 5.47; Duke, 3.29; Rush, 2.88; Prime, 2.79; Eden, 2.70.

TVNZ 1 also led the 18-49 and 5+ races.
