Grey’s Anatomy to Replace The Walking Dead

Season 16 of Grey’s Anatomy will start its run earlier as TVNZ 2’s replacement for The Walking Dead.

The ageing hospital drama will screen 9.45 Mondays from April 13.

The Walking Dead was meant to end its 10th season on that date but will now conclude with the penultimate episode on April 6 because of the COVID-19 pandemic halting post-production of the finale.

The rescheduling means the overnight re-runs of Grey’s 15th season will end earlier with a double-episode on April 6.

Re-runs of The Undateables’ 8th season will air 11.40 Mondays from April 13.

In other scheduling news, TVNZ 2 will replace tomorrow’s same-week re-run of Have You Been Paying Attention? (9.50 Friday) with Body Freaks: Old Face, New Face because the former has been taken off-air due to inappropriate content amid COVID-19 fears.

In the latter, plastic surgery and body modification enthusiasts push their obsessions to the limit to explore astonishing cosmetic transformations.
