HDTV Ratings: Grey’s Stitches Up House/Wife

TV2’s HD premiere of Grey’s Anatomy last night brought down the House on TV3 and its HD stablemate, The Good Wife.

Last week House and The Good Wife helped the network to win the biggest share of 18-49 year-olds for the night but the two-hour, season-six launch of Grey’s Anatomy cut each down to size.

The first hour was watched by 17.1% of the audience advertisers covet most, to notch up a 43.8% channel share, compared to House’s 7.9 rating/23.0 share.

The second hour built on the first, returning a 17.2 rating/44.0 share compared to The Good Wife’s 5.5 rating/14.1 share.

Last week, against TV2’s movie, Flightplan, House posted an 11.7 rating/33.4 share and The Good Wife, an 8.7 rating/24.5 share.
