Halloween Feast for Horror Buffs
Sky has curated a week-long frightfest of horror movies for Halloween while John Carpenter fans can look forward to re-issues of some of his catalogue on Blu-ray and 4K-UHD.
However, there’s no sign yet of Carpenter’s best horror film, Halloween, on 4K-UHD in this market, although it goes on sale in the US on September 25.
But the 4K-UHD of Christine will hit the streets here on October 31 while due the same day on Blu-ray are The Fog, Prince of Darkness and Escape From New York.
Surfacing a week earlier will be the Blu-rays of Revenge of the Creature and American Horror Story: Cult and on October 17, The First Purge and season three of Ash vs Evil Dead.
In Darkness sees the light on October 11, and Hereditary and season eight of The Walking Dead on September 26.
The Halloween pop-up channel will go live on October 26 and expire on November 1.
