Survivor returns to Samoa while Shark Tank is an Apprentice-style series about inventive entrepreneurs. Hacks lands a free-to-air run nearly two years afters its belated TVNZ+ launch and a couple of months ahead of its S3 return. It stars Jean Smart (Mare of Easttown) as a legendary Las Vegas comedian who, in a desperate bid to remain relevant, is forced to mentor an ambitious, entitled young writer (Hannah Einbinder) …

➢➢ Live NFL: SuperBowl coverage (TVNZ 1, midday Monday) spearheads a big week for live free-to-air sport. Sky Open’s broadcast of the 2024 Halberg Awards (8.30 Wednesday) precedes the Friday night lights double-bill of NRL Indigenous All Stars v NZ Maori Women (7.30) and All Stars v NZ Maori Men (9.45) while rounding off the night is NBL Championship New Zealand Breakers V Brisbane Bullets (12.15am Saturday). Duke continues its live coverage of the Black Caps-South Africa tour (10.30am from Tuesday). And pro-wrestling fans will be pleased to learn Sky has extended its license for Raw 

➢➢ Duke refreshes its sci-fi/fantasy line-up with the season two premiere of Halo (8.30 Saturday), the first free-to-air run of Preacher (12.25am Sunday), and the Monday night combo of the acclaimed Future Man (10.10), which previously streamed here on Lightbox, and the engaging Eureka (11.15), which is set in a small town with the world’s highest IQ (the latter also screens nightly).
