➢ TVNZ 2’s latest reality strip, I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! (Australia), will premiere on January 29, a day after its live Channel 10 launch across the Tasman. It will air post-9.00 Monday-Thursday and, because of its topicality, should rate much better than TVNZ 2’s Love Island strip. The Aussie version of the UK warhorse got off to a rocky start three years ago with woeful ratings but rebounded to become one of that market’s most popular reality shows. ➢ The season finale of TVNZ 2’s Friday night flop Bromans is being pushed back an hour tomorrow night, from 9.50 to 10.45, and replaced by an extra episode of Instant Hotel. The latter premiered Tuesday, where it lost to Three’s repeat of Lost & Found, and will permanently air Tuesdays and Fridays. Tomorrow’s rescheduling will pre-empt the re-run of 2 Broke Girls …

➢ In other rescheduling news: Prime will screen live coverage of the Wellington Cup’s JR & N Berkett Telegraph Handicap on Saturday, from 3.30, which will push Indian Dream Hotel back to 2.30 (where it will pre-empt Storage Hunters). But the bad news for Cup fans is the previously scheduled Thorndon Mile race is being dropped for ITM Fishing Classics at 5.00 …

➢ And Duke’s having to replace previously scheduled episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine with Travel Man on January 25 and February 1. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine is definitely coming back, just not as early as we had anticipated,” a spokesman says. “It will be back later in February.” Meanwhile, Duke’s January 29 episode of Family Guy (S16, E12) is being replaced by a re-run (S11, E15) —  new eps of Family Guy don’t resume in the US until March 11 …

➢ TVNZ 2 will screen the 2018 60th Annual Grammy Awards live from 2pm on January 29 and Duke will repeat it at 8.00. But the curtain-raiser TVNZ 2 intended to air, Grammy’s Greatest Stories: A 60th Anniversary Special (3.15 Sunday), has been replaced by the movie The Game Plan …

➢ The Woman Who Ate a House is the title of another TVNZ 2 special, which will air 8.40 on January 31. The Channel 5 documentary investigates what could be the ultimate eating disorder — pica syndrome — that’s caused one woman to eat more than a ton of plaster in the last 15 years and another to literally devour novels …
