AW, I was looking forward to Once Upon A Time In Hollywood on Sunday but, oh well, it’s now on my birthday. Thanks, Three ?

  2. No great loss, the broadcast TV version was awful – soft picture in the wrong aspect ratio, with poor sound. If you really want to see this film, and it’s well worth seeing, watch it on Blu-ray or 4K-UHD.

  3. The 4K-UHD transfer is indeed spectacular — arguably much better than the movie deserves. The first two hours are a funny, enthralling, tour-de-force showcase of evocative filmmaking, the final act is typically grotesque Tarantino overkill. He epitomises why gifted directors need grounded producers who aren’t afraid to rein in their excesses.
