➢➢ As longtime ScreenScribe contributor Leo astutely speculated, Three will fast-track the latest season of Love Island UK to air 4.30/5.00 weekdays from June 5. It’s the first in the franchise to air on Three, with Australian, US and NZ versions to follow. The show was a big online hit for TVNZ Ondemand last year and should provide Newshub Live with one of its strongest lead-ins yet, although it will face tough TVNZ competition from The Chase and Home and Away …

ANZ Premiership Grand Final Live on Prime and Sky Sport Monday 3 June, 3.30pm.
Nice spot Leo! It looks like Love Island is starting on June 3 (a Monday) in the UK, which would leave around a 30 hours for it to be presumably edited here for late-afternoon broadcast? I guess it’s no different to when 3 showed Big Brother Australia pre-news around 2014 or so.
Prime also have tonight’s Warriors game and the Black Caps cricket warm-up game live.
Thanks for the reminder, Cliff. In case anyone missed, it, see this post.
