Season two of Kingdom will belatedly debut next month on Sky Movies Action. It went to air last October in the US, where season three of the mixed martial arts drama premiered this month. Despite its cage fighting action, most critics saw beyond this. “The show has always been primarily about family and character, with the MMA world providing a mirror for what is going on among the main characters,” the San Francisco Chronicle said of the season two premiere. “There are moments of violence in Kingdom but they are not in any way gratuitous. More important, they only enhance the real theme of the series, to explore the efforts of flawed human beings to get to a better place.” Kingdom will air 8.30 Sundays from July 3…
