TV3 will screen in HD Oscar Pistorius’ final TV interview on June 27. Interviewer Mark Williams-Thomas, whose The Other Side Of Jimmy Savile helped expose the late presenter as a paedophile, has spent considerable time in South Africa investigating the case, the Mirror reports. According to ITV, “Pistorius gives his account of what happened the night he killed his girlfriend and is questioned about key details of the prosecution case which resulted in his conviction. He also talks about his relationship with Reeva, the allegations of his previous abusive behaviour towards her and and his previous use of firearms.” It will air here three days after its UK broadcast on a double-bill with KKK – The Fight for White Supremacy, in which filmmaker Dan Vernon spent seven months getting to know members of the fastest-growing Ku Klux Klan chapter in the US …

Boxing fans who want a free-to-air ringside seat should tune into TV3’s Big Bash Boxing, which will pre-empt Live at the Apollo on July 1. The two-hour special will screen live from the ASB Stadium Kohimarama Auckland, with the main event being the NZPBA Middleweight Title fight between Jordan Tai and Gunnar Jackson …

Talk about doubles: TV One and Duke will screen live coverage of Wimbledon overnight from June 27. TV One’s midnight-dawn transmission will be in HD and Duke’s in SD — but the latter’s will continue beyond 6am. Coverage also will be streamed on watchduke.co.nz and TVNZ OnDemand. And Stuff has confirmed Sky will again screen English Premier League soccer — but on two Bein Sports channels that will cost $11.96 a month …

Joanna Lumley, who guests on July 1’s Graham Norton Show (TV3, 8.30) with Jennifer Saunders, Rebel Wilson and Iggy Pop, is following up her Trans-Siberian Adventure with the three-part Joanna Lumley’s Japan, in which she will trek from Hokkaido in the north, to the island of Honshu, before visiting the streets of Tokyo and the historic capital city of Kyoto …

TV One is reinstating daytime re-runs of Coronation Street because of popular demand — despite pulling them for not meeting rating expectations only weeks ago. Says a spokesman: “We value our loyal daytime viewers and have listened to their feedback about the need for a daytime encore of Coro.” The re-runs will air in one-hour blocks 1pm Wednesday-Friday from June 29 …

Comings and goings: SVU starts its 17th season on June 28 (TV3, 9.25), in the slot where TV3 had tentatively pencilled in Hawaii Five-O … Nashville’s fourth season premieres on June 29 (TV One, 11.00) — while ABC has axed the drama, another US channel has picked it up for a fifth season … George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces returns on June 30 (TV One, 7.30) … Premiering the same night at 9.30 is personal makeover hour Beauty and the Beach, which follows Kiwis having “a nip, tuck and a tan” in Thailand … Ending their runs in the week starting June 25 are TV One’s Blindspot and The Family, and Prime’s James May’s Cars of the People, The People vs OJ Simpson: American Crime Story and NCIS: New Orleans.
