HD Heads-Up: March 16-22

➢➢ What a wretched week for free-to-air movie fans, with most of the plum slots given over to movies as dated as 1993’s Striking Distance, 1994’s The Mask, 1997’s Contact, 1999’s The Mummy and 2004’s Spider-Man 2 and Van Helsing while the Sunday night showdown is between 2016’s The Legend of Tarzan and 2017’s Wonder Woman. Lucky we can stream our movies 😁

  2. If only ThreeNow had some movies to stream……

  3. WBD hasn’t made a good movie and only a handful of ok TV shows (via HBO) since before 2020, the only ones I can really think of are the Snyder cut back in ’21 and Chernobyl and House of the Dragon

  4. Jones Too! is being dropped from Sky’s channel line-up come April 1.

  5. Thanks, Mike. Where did you learn that?

  6. In the Sky weekly watching email. But it’s also listed in the programming update page https://help.sky.co.nz/s/topic/0TO2w000000PesCGAS/latest-updates

  7. Thanks, Mike. Last night Sky confirmed details that I’ll post shortly.
