HD Heads-Up: March 7 – 13
➢➢ Three is rebuilding Thursday nights with the March 7 premieres of Lego Masters USA (7.30) and season 15 of Live at the Apollo (9.30). Said The Hollywood Reporter of the Will Arnett-fronted former: “Adapted from a critically acclaimed British series that debuted in 2017, the American Lego Masters takes the original conceit and Fox-es it up, adding blammo! sound effects, a candy-coloured workshop set and grimace-worthy puns that make you pity the in-person victims forced to laugh at them … The show wrests more drama from its wackadoodle cast than it does the lightyears-more-fascinating methodology of their artisanship” …
➢➢ TVNZ 1’s We Are One: The Mosque Attacks One Year On (8.30, March 10) follows a year in the lives of six Muslim families who were wounded or lost loved ones in the March 15 massacre of Christchurch mosquegoers. As their physical wounds heal, how are they handling the emotional, mental and psychological fallout? …
➢➢ Prime is revving up its weekend schedule with the premieres of Australian motoring show WhichCar (7.00 Saturdays from March 7) and North America With Simon Reeve (7.30 Sundays from March 8). Quipped The Telegraph: “I’ve never been able to get on-board with adventurer Simon Reeve, who the BBC seem grimly determined to turn into a star, despite all evidence to the contrary … This was an intermittently interesting journey. For most of it, though, I wished that we’d gone with somebody else” …

I think A Quiet Place will definitely win the battle of the movies 🙂
I think it will be close, Trevor. American Animals certainly won’t be competitive, even though it was one of the best surprises of 2018. But chances are Ocean’s 8 will pip A Quiet Place if more people are in the mood for light ent, especially with a lead-in like The Bachelorette — whereas even horror as classy as AQP may be too abrupt a transition for Married at First Sight fans.
