➢➢ Prime will premiere the asteroid thriller Salvation the same week both seasons go on sale on Blu-ray (8.35 Tuesdays from November 17). Rotten Tomatoes summed up the series as: “Neither remarkably bad nor impressively well-made, Salvation is stereotypical summer television — a low-stakes diversion that may pass the time well enough for undemanding audiences without ever being particularly memorable along the way” …

➢➢ Salvation is one of several series Prime will launch in the third week of November. Also new will be:

  • Prison (8.30 Mondays), a documentary series that goes behind the bars of a Brtirish prison
  • Life Cycles (7.30 Tuesdays), a natural history series that explores how the life cycle plays out very differently from one species to another
  • Pasifika sketch comedy SIS (9.30 Wednesdays)
  • The Fast Fix: Diabetes (7.30 Thursdays), a two-part look at how five Britons with Type 2 diabetes try to reverse their condition with a radical liquid diet …

➢➢ The Block Australia will return on November 15 (Three, 7.00), ahead of live coverage of the Aotearoa Music Awards 2020 (Three, 8.30), and George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces resumes on November 19 (TVNZ 1, 7.30), while ending their runs that week will be Westside (with a two-hour series final), The Farmer Wants a Wife and This Could Go Anywhere

➢➢ The Salesman (Maori TV, 8.30 Sunday) and Dolores (Maori TV, 8.30 Monday) are the only free-to-air movie premieres for the week starting November 14. Other HD coming attractions will include:
