The Cry (8.30 Sundays from November 4) is a psychological thriller that chronicles how a marriage collapses in the wake of a tragedy. It stars Jenna Coleman (Victoria) and Ewen Leslie as a Scottish couple whose baby is abducted while visiting family in Australia. It went to air last month in the UK, where The Guardian hailed it as “a baby snatching drama to rival Bodyguard” while the Independent said it was the “deftly handled depiction of parenting that makes The Cry worth watching – not the dramatic abduction” …
