Glum about Grimm … Bare bones Zone … Harrowing Darryl hour …
Grim news for Grimm fans: the sixth, shortest and final season won’t premiere on Sky’s The Zone channel until March. The first of the last 13 episodes goes to air in the US on January but The Zone will delay its debut for at least two months. “Season six isn’t airing until January in the US and is running in four-episode blocks,” a channel spokeswoman says, “so we are going to run it in March where we can run it all together with no breaks.” When NBC announced season six would be the last, a petition was initiated to encourage Netflix to pick it up for a seventh, as the streaming service has done with shows like Longmire and The Gilmore Girls. In the meantime, The Zone will re-run season three of Grimm 11.25 weekdays from December 2 …

It does have one other premiere, of the one-off Australian sci-fi drama, Restoration, about a man who wakes in a body that’s not his own (December 19, 8.30). Starring Craig McLachlan, it was hailed as “a solid effort that’ll appeal to fans of cerebral genre works” by FilmInk …
The Zone’s Friday Night Frights season will continue next month with Texas Chainsaw Massacre (December 2), Teeth (December 9), The Amityville Horror (December 16), Carrie (December 23) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (December 30). And if you’ve seen The Conjuring 2, don’t miss The Zone’s re-run of The Enfield Haunting, which dramatises the same true-life haunted house tale (December 26, 8.30) …
