➢➢ The ‘latest’ season of Britain’s Got Talent leads Labour Weekend’s free-to-air ‘highlights’. Season 14 will screen 7.30 Saturdays on TVNZ 1 from October 24 — more than a week after the winner was announced on ITV. The series went to air in the UK in April but screened in two halves because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Jeez, not really a lot to get excited about on FTA currently. And it’s hard to see it improving in the short term given COVID etc. Will be intriguing to see what each network puts together for 2021. Can’t help but feel Three could have rushed a Dancing with the Stars to air at level 1, or another live reality show.

  2. Yes, Clint, all very depressing if you don’t subscribe to Sky or a streaming service. In which case, TVNZ OnDemand is your best bet — there are some true gems on this ad-supported platform, not all of which make it to air.
