HD Highlights: September 3

Season Highlight: Grey’s Anatomy (TV2, 8.40, 5.1): It’s raining men, in this bromantic episode that revolves around a freak accident at a comic book convention that sparks a human stampede in the ER. Zombie nurses, deluded hobbits and Game of Thrones references abound. Quipped one US blogger: “All right, everybody, take your seats. I hereby call to order this meeting of the ‘Dudes Who Watch Grey’s Anatomy‘ support group. Grab some beer and pretzels and settle in … No less a man’s man than former president Bill Clinton has recently expressed his devotion to Grey’s, declaring it his favourite show. If it’s a ‘male enough’ show for a guy who risked the leadership of the free world to spend a little time with the ladies, it’s male enough for me.” ✭✭✭✭

Sky Movies Greats Premiere: Office Space (Sky 22, 8.30, 5.1): King Of The Hill creator Mike Judge writes and directs a comedy that skewers the workplace with deadpan aplomb but suffers from a narrative that clocks out after the first half-hour. Jennifer Aniston, Ron Livingston, Stephen Root, Gary Cole and ‘toon vocalist David Herman (King of the Hill, Futurama, Beavis and Butt-head, Bob’s Burgers) star. (1998) ✭✭✩
