HD Makeover for NZ’s Next Top Model

New Zealand’s Next Top Model will again strut its stuff in HD when it returns.

TV3 today confirmed the costly but popular hour would be back on air this year.

Model and celebrity manager Sara Tetro will again the host the show, along with model and actor Colin Mathura-Jeffree and photographer and former model Chris Sisarich.

TV3 is promising “exciting new twists” and invites applicants aged 16-25 who are at least 170cm tall to pre-register for the auditions at: www.tv3.co.nz/topmodel.

At one stage it looked as if the catwalk hit wouldn’t make the cut for 2010. A sharp downturn in advertising last year led all of the networks to revise their commissioning budgets, and NZ’s Next Top Model was shaping up to be as big a casualty of the recession as TV One’s Wheel of Fortune and Dancing With the Stars.
