HD Ratings: 1-1-1 for Apprentice Aotearoa?
Three’s 9-1-1 continues to dominate the core commercial demographics on Mondays, with this week’s episode again beating TVNZ 1’s The Apprentice Aotearoa and TVNZ 2’s Wife Swap.
The emergency services drama averaged 3.8% of 25-54 year-olds vs 2.9% each for Apprentice and Wife Swap.
In the 18-49 stakes it averaged 3.1%, Apprentice 2.4% and Wife Swap 2.5%. Last week, the trading places show narrowly won the slot in this demo.
While Monday’s 8.30 viewership increased week-on-week across the three major networks, it was down an hour earlier.
But TVNZ 2’s MasterChef Australia increased its week-on-week lead over Three’s The Block NZ, with the former averaging 4.7% of 25-54s (vs 3.8% for Block) and 3.8% of 18-49s (vs 3.4%).
TVNZ 1’s Fair Go won the 7.30-8.00 zone with 25-54s but lead-out Highway Cops lost in both key demos.
Despite the popularity of 9-1-1, sister show Lone Star lost the 9.30 hour to TVNZ 2’s Wife Swap overlap and Renters repeat while TVNZ 1’s It’s Your Fault I’m Fat finished a distant third.
TVNZ 1 won the night’s biggest core demo shares while Three edged out TVNZ 2 for the second biggest.
