HD Ratings: Arrow Pierces Competition
Arrow continues to fly high on TV2, with Wednesday’s episode drawing 2-4 times the viewership of the competition on TV One and TV3.
It averaged 9.7% – 13.6% of the major demographics, which is phenomenal for a 9.30 drama.
Arrow’s popularity also is helping to boost viewership of lead-out Revolution, which averaged an unusually high 4.4% – 5.8% for a 10.30 drama.
Arrow had a huge lead-in – My Kitchen Rules averaged 17.5% – 25.9% — whereas its HD competition, Harry, had 3rd Degree Presents The Vote.
The latter averaged only 4.1% – 4.8% and the former, 3.4% – 4.8%.
TV2’s local drama, Go Girls, also slipped on Tuesday, when it averaged only 7.0% – 11.7% on the back of a 15.6% – 22.7% lead-in from MKR.
Go Girls’ opposition, the final of Galapagos With David Attenborough, rated 3.9% – 7.2% and NCIS, 6.2% – 7.7%.
Revenge won the 9.30 hour, with 5.3% – 9.6%, compared to NCIS: Los Angeles’ 5.0% – 5.6%.
Earlier in the night, Modern Family rated above average, with 7.2% – 7.4%, as did sitcom stablemate Go On: 5.3% – 6.2%.
