HD Ratings: Aussie Reality Spin-off Survives Premiere

Australian Survivor won its slot on Sunday night with TV2’s target 18-49 audience, despite tough competition from TV One’s Sunday and TV3’s repeat of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

After a slow start, it averaged a 5.3 rating/23.5% share and built to dominate the 7.00-8.30 hour in the 25-54 demographic, too.

Despite generally good reviews, Hillary trailed its 18-49 and 25-54 competitors but was tops with 5+.

Transformers lost to Survivor but trounced TV2’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

TV2 won the night in all the key demos except 25-54, which TV One owned.
