HD Ratings: Bake Off Send-Off Tops Off Top Run

Thursday’s Celebrity Treasure Island edition of The Great Kiwi Bake Off proved a great send-off for the popular cooking contest.

It won its 90-minute slot with 3.6% of TVNZ 1’s core commercial demographic, 25-54 year-olds, and 2.8% of 18-49s — which was up week-on-week in each demo.

TVNZ 2’s Ten 7 Aotearoa (3.4%/2.8%) also was up but stablemate Motorway Patrol (2.5%/2.4%) dipped while Three’s Love It or List It Australia was steady on 2.4%/1.4%.

Bake Off lead-out Hard Quiz (1.9%/1.8%) lost the 25-54 advantage to TVNZ 2’s Embarrassing Bodies (2.2%/1.6%) but beat Three’s The Graham Norton Show (1.7%/1.0%).

Eden’s 8,30 premiere of Ridley averaged 0.1% of the core demos while Prime’s A Question of Justice improved on its premiere (0.3%/0.2%).

TVNZ 2’s re-run of The Man With a Penis on His Arm won the 9.30 hour with 25-54s (1.2%) but Three’s Get the Name Right was more popular with 18-49s (0.9%).

TVNZ 1’s Coronation Street’s averaged 0.8% of 25-54s and 0.6% of 18-49s.

Three ruled on Wednesday with Nadia’s Farm scoring season highs (4.1%/2.8%) and a David Lomas Investigates re-run winning the 8.30 hour (3.3%/2.2%).

TVNZ 1’s new game show Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win continued to struggle at 7.30 (1.7%/1.2%), trailing TVNZ 2’s Celebrity Treasure Island (3.1%/2.6%).

Lead-out The Hotel Inspector (0.9%/0.8%) also finished third while TVNZ 2’s Taskmaster averaged 2.2%/1.9%.

At 9.30, TVNZ 2’s FBoy Island averaged 0.5% of the key demos vs 0.8%/0.6% for Coronation Street and 0.9%/0.7% for Three’s Sort Your Life Out.
