HD Ratings: Bodyshockers Shocker As Tabatha Takes Over
TV3’s Bodyshockers suffered a body blow on Thursday when Tabatha Takes Over took over TV2’s 20/20 slot.
Tabatha won the 9.30 hour with 4.0% – 5.6% of the key demographics, compared to 2.8% – 5.5% for Bodyshockers.
Only among household shoppers with kids was it a tight contest — which is astonishing given Bodyshockers’ premiere a week earlier averaged 4.6% – 7.1%.
The only other challenge to Tabatha was its first quarter-hour being out-rated by TV One’s Best Bits but the latter’s viewership quickly tailed off on the back of the premiere of Big Fat Gypsy Weddings: Life on the Run (4.6% – 6.5%).
Gypsy rated much better than Mr Selfridge did in the same slot, seesawing with Arrow (4.6% – 6.6%) in the 25-54 and HHS demos and easily beating TV3’s CSI (2.8% – 5.2%) across the board.
CSI wasn’t helped by The Three Day Nanny averaging only 2.1% – 4.2% against The Art of the Architect (3.3% – 6.1%), Police Ten-7 (11.7% – 14.3%) and Highway Patrol (9.6% – 12.2%).
Thursday’s peak-hour HD channel ratings and shares were:
- Adults 18-49: TV One, 4.8 rating/17.8 share; TV2, 7.7 rating/28.8 share; TV3, 4.0 rating/15.1 share
